Since retiring from the fire service after 31 years service, Stuart has maintained an active interest in the field of fire safety by setting up a fire safety consultancy and advisory service, in his own name. 

Stuart’s expertise in the field of fire auditing, fire risk assessments and fire training has been of value to many large and varied companies and individuals, both in the UK and abroad. As a long-standing member of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) Stuart has represented them and his Brigade on a number of national committees, including the CFBAC and BSI. 

His involvement with the Institution of Fire Engineers is ongoing and currently includes co-ordinating examination papers and BSI representation.

 

 

George retired from the Fire Service after 31 years in 1997 with most of his service being in the field of fire safety and training and was at one time head of the fire investigation team in the West Yorkshire fire Service. 

George has worked in the UK, Europe and the middle East for one of the worlds leading hotel companies and has an extensive knowledge of fire safety and the hospitality industry. 

He has carried out fire risk assessments fire investigations and fire audits for many major companies in the UK .

Michael J Pierce

Michael Pierce retired from the fire service after over 30 years service.  Involved in fire safety since 1982 he retired after being offered a post as Fire Safety Manger for one of the biggest hotel chains in Britain, looking after the fire safety interests of the company in Britain and Europe.

He formed his own company carrying out risk assessments, audits, consultations, training and advising on all aspects of fire safety for several national companies. 

 A Graduate member of the Institution of Fire Engineers and former secretary of the Leeds Fire Liaison Group and current member he maintains a keen interest and input in the changing world of fire safety control and legislation.

 

 

After 31 years service in the Fire Brigade Rod has worked for over 7 years in Thailand and Singapore

During this time in Asia he carried out Fire Safety surveys and Training for many companies and organizations including underwriting assessments for insurance companies.

His work has included High Rise buildings, Industrial complexes, domestic property, government buildings, Ship yards and docks, airports, underground rail systems, overhead rail systems, historical buildings, Super Markets, Power Generating Plants and Petro-Chemical plants.

He has trained Firemen and women from such countries as Qatar, Hong Kong, Sollum Voe Oil Terminal - UK, Gibraltar, Botswana and Nigeria - Africa, Saudi Arabia, Malta and other regional authorities.
