Risk
Assessment and Audits.
A
risk assessment of your premises will see if you are complying with current fire
safety legislation under the Fire Precautions Act 1971 and the Fire Precautions
(Workplace) Regulations 1997 (As amended). This is followed by a full report
outlining the findings and recommending any action necessary to ensure
compliance. Fire audits are offered as an annual check that can link with
insurance requirements.

Fire
Safety Training.
To
comply with current legislation every employee should be trained to prevent
fires. They also need to know what action should be taken if fire occurs, how to
use fire fighting equipment (Including fire extinguishers) and have an
elementary knowledge of fire-fighting techniques and awareness. The
level of training required varies with the degree of responsibility. Training
for managers, supervisors, fire marshals/wardens and the general workforce can
therefore be tailored to suit your company. We can provide a secure online training system carried out over the internet, for large or small organisations. Your employees can train when time permits at their own desk You can manage their training online, see who has been trained, their results and who needs training

Building
Surveys.
This
service is offered to architects, property managers and the construction
industry prior to building works commencing. The surveys can be provided for new
projects and for the refurbishment of existing properties, commencing at
planning stage through to completion. The
service is also offered direct to companies seeking to extend, refurbish or
purchase property. The opportunity to obtain 'plan comments' can be valuable and
it is often to the advantage of companies to discuss the implications of fire
safety requirements, prior to final decision making. The assistance and advice
provided should ensure a smooth passage through the consultation process with
local authorities. Where necessary we will meet with the various departments to
discuss the proposals on behalf of our client.
